I, Lucius Decimus Crassus, swear this by Jupiter and by unbreakable stone. I swear it by the genius of the fallen Caesar and his rightful heir Antony.
If I do not do this, may divine Jupiter strip the gift of immortality from my flesh. May I be cursed forever as an oathbreaker. May I bear all the suffering of the 19th Legion, for all time.
