I finally got so bored, I started making conversation with Iki. “Whattya need twelve rooms in this house for?”
“Thirteen, not twelve.” He puts down his book like I’m bothering him, and he stamps on the floor. It sounds hollow, and that’s when I see the trap door. I go to open it. But the guy is fast, and he’s in front of me somehow. He moves his armchair over the trap door, so I can’t get to it anymore.
I think his gold’s down there. I’m getting in if it kills me.
