Turn Back! Page Found in an abandoned settlement - on New World Guide Database of Lore
Dear reader:
I know not whether you are an explorer or graverobber, a soldier or looter. Whatever misfortune brings you to this forsaken place: turn back!
This land is cursed. It was once our home, but it will suffer our presence no longer. Cunning beasts conspire against us, and the very ground beneath our feet plots our destruction. I implore you: whether it is duty or greed that brought you to this place, flee! There are fates far worse than the agony of death, and a great many of them await you on the shores of First Light.
May your gods have mercy on you and light your way to safer ground, stranger!
