I couldn’t sleep all night when you stayed at the house of that fellow you were smitten with.\n\nYou stole my heart, when you first clutched my thumb as a baby. Your eyes spoke volumes even then. They spoke to me when you didn’t know words. Later, they spoke to me when you didn’t have the right ones.\n\nYour eyes were always a stormy blue sky.
