Heed these words, Oh Children of Dunwood, for they may save your life!
There is that which waits to be perceived, so that it may enter your sphere. Should you look out your window at night, it may be waiting neath the sill. On the first night its back will be turned, and safe you will be, but on the following night, it will face your window, and should it espy that you perceive it, then you will have let it in. Beware, for on the third night, as you turn to blow out your candle, it will be there, in the darkest corner of your room. Do not look at its face, for if you meet its eyes, the invitation is made, and it will send you to the unseen world so it may take a place in your home.
So go to bed when your parents tell you, and pull the covers over your head, for if you do not see it, then it can not see you.
