Monotropa Quatraflora, also known as Common Lichwarden, Corpse Weed, or Ghost Pipe, is an herbaceous, parasitic flowering plant native to Western Aeternum. The entire plant is a translucent, waxy white, with some specimens having black flecks or pale pink coloration.

As the only non-photosynthesizing member of this genus, Lichwarden draws it’s energy from a host, most often a beech or maple tree. Since it is not dependent on sunlight, it can easily grow in the dark understory of dense forests. Lichwarden is known to propagate where a living being has recently died or resurrected, and uses residual traces of azoth for pollination. Seeding experiments are ongoing to determine the viability of living flesh as a growing medium.
