It is my duty, and my privilege, to announce my retirement from Aeternian geography and history. I have heard the sounds and waves of a higher calling into the west. I will set sail on a rowboat armed with nothing but an oar and a dream. I leave my journal here with you, so that one day you too may journey on grey ships’ sails to Mantravan and find me again. I leave my collegiate cartographer's ring as a symbol of my newfound purpose. I shall go now.
And once arrived, I will lay down my sweet and weary head.
White shores are calling.
You and I will meet again.
