Dunwood is alight with Ipomoea spp, illuminating my path after dusk falls. A unique species of this Ipomoea spp. refracts the moonlight in such a way that it creates a spectrum of color visible under my microscope. This small, fulgent flower shall be referred to furthermore as Ipomoea prismatica. I would like to see if this opalescent flower could withstand the dyeing process and what textiles it could bind to to retain its prismatic appearance.
