Paragraph 133
The storehouse is certainly unimpressive from the outside, but the interior more than makes up for it. Lavish tapestries adorn the walls. Bookshelves overflowing with rare tomes cover the few sections that don’t have tapestries. Plush chairs perfect to reading are strategically placed around the room. One bookshelf on the back wall is askew and there is a tapestry that blows from an unknown breeze.
To move the bookshelf to see what lies behind, turn to paragraph 90.
To investigate the tapestry, turn to… sadly the paragraph number has been smudged out and is illegible.
Paragraph 134
The crates lead up to a gallery and a path into another room. From there it is easy to bypass the rest of the traps and travel unimpeded to an ancient Throne Room deep within the ruins. It is there a might Scepter of Power is placed, just waiting for a true king to take it up once more.
The Warrior King returns home, triumphant, certain he will rule forever. But, for the rest of his life he is haunted by images of what he could have gained, had he continued to search those Ancient Halls.
Paragraph 135
The door opens into a cavern filled with water. The Warrior King steps in, for he can swim. After reaching a log he planned on using the climb out, the Warrior King realizes he’s made a terrible mistake. It is no log, but a very hungry crocodile. Who has been waiting so patiently for a snack. There isn’t even time to draw his sword.
The Warrior King dies unfulfilled.
